Saturday, September 6 at 18.00 Terminal B Kunsthal Kirkenes welcomes you to “Stilla – a Performance”. Produced by Noor Produksjoner and Ferske Scener, “Stilla – a Performance” is a music and conversation-based performance about eco-grief, anger, and the loss of place, about civil disobedience and eco-terrorism. It is about standing still and listening as the ice settles on the river, about naivety, and about walking a path the body already knows. About human rights and “monster masts,” about wind turbines and pike cakes, and about mining waste and fjord fishing.
The performance invites a conversation between the three actors (Ivar Beddari, Bernt Bjørn, Trond Peter Stamsø Munch), but also with specially invited guests. Where are the struggles in our own part of the world today? What would be irreplaceable for us? What could even you chain yourself to in protest?
The performance in Kirkenes is a collaboration with Pikene På Broen with financial support from Kulturdirektoratet.
