Moja på Tvoja is a theater performance in your own home, digitally via Zoom.
Moja på Tvoja is a participatory theater piece produced in the form of an online Zoom class. There is no audience in the performance – everyone is a participant. Russian and Norwegian audience members meet to study “russenorsk”, also known as “moja på tvoja” – a pidgin language formerly used for trade in the Arctic. Combining elements from the two neighboring languages “moja på tvoja” exists somewhere in the inbetween Russian and Norwegian.
Through this lesson we learn how Moja på tvoja was used in the past, and together we determine the future of the language. What is the vocabulary today and what words are needed in the future?
