In collaboration with Kunstpodden, artist talks from the previous festival edition are made in podcasts.
First out is the conversation between artists Jérémie McGowan and Amund Sjølie Sveen on the project Real. Arctic, moderated by Stephanie von Spreter, on how the artists use art and design objects to raise questions related to sovereignty, identities and ownership of the Arctic today:
Second episode is presented by two artists: Lada Suomenrinne and Astrid Ardagh who were part of the festival exhibition of Barents Spektakel 2025. Lada uses photography and text to visualize a story about her homeland, woven into the presence of her ancestors, changing weather and the necessity of knowledge. Astrid presents a short documentary about the crucial role of radio amateurs in keeping our communication channels open:
